Starting today, July 1st, the Cook County minimum wage increases to $13/hour and $5.30/hour for tipped employees.
Cook County's increase comes alongside increases in the city of Chicago and across the state of Illinois. Together these efforts are steps to phase-in a $15/hour minimum wage across the state.
