Interested in learning more about butterflies and how to properly monitor them? The Illinois Butterfly Monitoring Network (IBMN) and the Illinois Odonate Survey (IOS) are holding joint workshops via Zoom!
Split into two parts, the workshops will cover how to get started monitoring and how to follow the survey protocols. The second part of the training will involve butterfly and dragonfly/damselfly identification training in smaller virtual breakout sessions.
Interested individuals can sign up for any session scheduled through April and May. Cook County volunteers are recommended to sign up for 3 and Sessions 5, 6, or 7 if interested in participating specifically in the Calumet Region.
